Tankies are communist state sympathizers.

They aren't just communists, they will actively defend China and the Soviet Union.

If you were to go to China and find a bunch of guys wearing MAGA hats, that would be their version of a Tankie

I assume so? I avoid tankies and I've never asked.

I say this as an extreme socialist, tankies are a problem.
