Banned from r/news for deleting a 10 year old comment with redact. Guess the mods there have no backbone. No big deal to me since I'm deleting my account soon but be aware.

GDPR is more or less about Personal data comments ( without personal Data ) dont fall under this.
You can still edit and delete comments even if your banned in that Sub , use a tool like https://redact.dev/ to speed it up ( its free )
