I've been sitting on Microcenter and Amazon for the last two hours trying to convince myself to pull the trigger on parts. I made a spreadsheet and wrote some notes down and it looks like I can build out an Intel i7 build with an AMD RX7600 for about 850 taxes included. I just have to buy one big part or several smaller parts every pay period for a few months.
Have you used PCPartPicker? Micro center is usually the cheapest board/cpu deal and they started throwing in RAM.
One of the things I like about PC building is this fact… one piece at a time instead of a $600-$700 one time drop for a new console.
That sounds good, I'd personally just recommend swapping for an amd CPU instead. Just personal preference for me though. They're also usually a bit cheaper too.
