We've discovered that an external vendor that helped to create this cutscene mistakenly used this art as a reference, assuming it was official Bungie art.
We have reached out to the artist to apologize for the mix-up and to credit and compensate them for their awesome work.
Art submitted to bungie.net gives Bungie full rights to use it however they like, so they didn't need to do this. Nice to see them doing the right thing and resolve it and credit the original artist.
Maybe someone from design team saw it a short while ago and yeah. At least they are honest and want to compensate. Happens
