It's the first time the snake parasite has been seen in a human, let alone a brain.

In June 2022, she went under the knife for a biopsy—and that's when the neurosurgeon pulled out the live, writhing parasite from her brain.

Damn, can you imagine being the surgeon and running into that? I'd probably freak out and slice the brain by accident or something.
