It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

What gear and what PEV do you use in the rain?

Rainy season just started hitting here in Portland and I'm riding a G2 ninebot because I'm not comfortable with the water proofing on the S18 monowheel

If you have glasses that can get ruined in the rain, maybe look into some of the ebike helmets with eye protection, like this one from Lazer or this one from lumos. There are probably others from similar brands, these are just two I know of off hand. Likewise, for rain, there’s ponchos/raincapes. They’re more for bikes, but they should be fine for scooters, too. If ponchos are too dorky, a good pair of rain pants and a rain jacket will be useful not just for your scooter, but day to day outdoor stuff in the pnw.

That lumos helmet looks cool. I ride a unicycle though so my odds of faceplanting require a chin guard.

I'm definitely ordering a poncho

Ah my mistake. I read Ninebot and assumed you were on an electric scooter. Definitely keep your full face helmet for an euc. Good luck out there!

That is so cool, I want one! Mine is just a cheap OD green nylon from some company I don't even remember (Rothco maybe?)
