I still don't understand why people are so mad at this.
Before you were forced to have numbers in your name and now you get a choice, the numbers aren't forced on you.
Isn't more choice better?
yes, but people like to complain.
You can set a display name without the numbers, though, can't you? This seems like a fairly minor issue.
I think the change was good, but giving Nitro users the option to choose months in advance was really dumb.
Let's be real - it literally makes no difference at all. I don't know why they did it considering it makes absolutely 0 difference from a user standpoint.
Right? I realize there are instances where you couldn't see the numbers but those were few
Also, they're so inconsequential, you have a display name which is non-unique and every server has nicknames. There's almost zero point to the username
