Depends on the goal. Do you wanna see youngsters? Cuz the Emirates Cup will be better for that. Do you wanna see us win a trophy that matters? Cuz the Community Shield counts.

I have been debating this with a friend. He thinks that anything before the start of the Prem season isn’t worth bothering with but “The community shield would be more memorable but emirates cup maybe more fun”

Personally I'd go for community shield on the off chance we win it, but not having to watch us potentially lose to city again would be nice. Alternatively, having Rice's competitive debut with us is one to remember ;)
