Not that perfect. People could have the impression to have been sold a piece of garbage in the first place. and will choose a device from another vendor instead of another Xbox.
A couple years into it, how do you feel about the decision? I stuck with an Xbox One X until the Series X is more affordable/easier to get and feel like I haven’t had to miss out on much at all, especially compared to a Series S when I hear that it performs almost the same as a One X in game like CyberPunk.
The Series S was always meant to be that console that parents would buy for their kids because it's cheaper and it plays the same games. I don't think a gaming enthusiast would ever consider it otherwise.
I just never understood that because it didn’t seem like you were getting a big upgrade compared to a One X. I know that the newer consoles are way better at loading quickly, especially in multiplayer games but how much of a difference is there between a One X and a Series S?
Too bad I can’t dig up my Reddit comment about how buying a Series S will just mean you need to upgrade in a few years again anyways.
Perfect for Microsoft. They'd love for people to get in that smartphone upgrade cycle.

I got one but understood that. At the time I couldn't get my hands on an X or a PS5, so it was the only option.

It's now the streaming media center in the house. It hasn't been terrible but we ended up getting a pS5 also.
