Share youtube, songwhip, spotify, bandcamp links, music memes, album art, articles, whatever! But avoid links to directly download music (don't want to get Lemmy.world in trouble). Songwhip links always appreciated!

See this post on recs on how to post!

The Golden Rule: Music taste is subjective so don't be a gatekeeping asshole. There's no "bad music", only music you like or don't like.

We Are A Community: So no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or spam.

@[email protected] posted an article about US College radio stations (read post).

I suggested starting a thread with some good radio station streams and podcasts (from where-ever)โ€ฆso here it is.

My idea would be to include:

  • Name of your recommendation
  • Link to live stream, listen again page or podcast homepage
  • Brief description about why you recommend it

I will post a couple below to start off.

Edit - I just noticed that @[email protected], posted on this topic the other day, so check that out, too.

Ongoing History of New Music hosted by Alan Cross is an excellent podcast. It's the longest running music history documentary radio program in Canada. The show chronicles the history of alternative rock, from its roots in punk and new wave to the modern day.
