can you imagine how many less artists there would be if there was no return? People need money to live in capitalism.

Lack of monopoly power doesn't entail no return.

Hard to say if we would be better off with more or less of them.

They're compensated more today than ever before and most of it sucks but were paying out the ass for content.

Just look at stand up comedy. You can't tell me the era of comedy podcast is fun
