My wife's sister and her family moved from Staten Island to NJ (Monmouth) about 20 years ago. Their (at the time) small child was a bit upset about the change. So they sold the entire thing as, "We're going to live in JERSEYLAND! Isn't that exciting! The deer walk right through the yard! They have real grass!" It actually helped make the kid look forward to it. To this day, we still call it Jerseyland when we go to visit.
