Hello! Recently I've bought a pair of LetShuoer S12s and absolutely loved them! They're by far the best set of IEMs/headphones I've ever had. For reference the only "headphones" I've ever used were gaming headsets and a KZ ZSX that serves me very well until now.

These, for now, are my absolute favorite IEMs/Headphones of all time, just bought a cx31993 and a pair of Spinfit W1s to use with the S12s since they're on sale on AliExpress and am planning on getting either a HD600 or a DT1990 Pro next.

So I ask you guys, which headphones are your favorites? Which headphones just make you go "Yeah, this is it."

I know I'm not shaking up any hives with this one, but I've gotten Aryas and I haven't really looked back since.

Had a couple of models before-- the titular starpower Sennys and Beyers, and some Sony commercial models, but ever since I started using Aryas, I...

Stopped. Looking for headphones..

The cable they come with may be pure dogwater and Hifiman QC forever sketch, but nothing else really can buy the feeling of just listening to music without getting all knocked on listening to the headphone.

What IS gonna ruffle some feathers is that my Campfire Cascades are a close second. They're bassy and wide-sounding and built like a tank, and just their sheer portability + fun sound for EDM make me eat up their more annoying features like their cabling or their silly goddamn headband. Not a lot of headphones gave me the security that I could drop them and they'd live quite like BASScades.

Here's hoping that your Aryas last a long time! especially since you seem to really like them.

I was kinda shocked to realize this month I haven’t been shopping for headphones at all. I finally have gear that I’m really happy with and it’s stopped the little nagging voice in my head telling me there could be something better out there. Now, I’m sure there is something better out there but still I’m satisfied.

For me it was the U12t and Diana V2 (it was half price in Abyss’ “found in warehouse” sale). Both of those couldn’t possibly sound more different to each other. But they both sound great for just about everything I listen to. The U12t is luxurious sounding, warm-leaning, detailed, stages well (for an iem) and excellent imaging. The Diana V2 is astoundingly clear and detailed, in your face vocals, energetic, fantastic imaging, not super wide sounding overall but still manages to somehow throw sounds way out into the room when a song calls for it (to the point that it’s startling sometimes). Overall very happy with what I have. About to sell off some of my other stuff I no longer use.

I'm glad you've got a good thing going with your Diana and your U12T! IEMS were never my favorite space but it's nice to see a lot of new options for them, both hi-end and chi-fi.

It's such a special little feeling when the upwards climb of technohoarding stops and you settle into a nice walk of 'eh, who cares if there's better? I'm happy with what I've got'.

eh, who cares if there’s better?

That's a great way to put it. When you find something good enough that you stop trying to imagine what "better" sounds like while listening to what you have, that's a pretty good place to stay for a while.
