I saw the video, read his response, and read a ton of comments on this. LMG isn't the only source I have for tech stuff and I don't like what's going on but I'm not going to dismiss Linus right away as "another sellout" or generally put him in a bad light.

I think we should give it time to develop, see what's done to correct errors and reconcile issues, then after that I think we'll have a more refined impression of him and this entire fiasco. It might take a couple of weeks or months but it's better than any sort of knee jerk reactions.

I just despise all the drama seeking. Frankly I think less of GN for starting shit. You can claim up and down that you do it "because you care" but you have to consider GN is also a content farm and has to decide where to spend their time and energy. Review new products? No. Investigate and tear down a competitor in a 45m long video? Yeah, let's spend time and effort on that!

No one is clean here.
