There is a business selling kits and prebuilds for this kind of thing. There are consumers who want this kind of thing and just don't have much time for projects.
That's good to hear - getting it up and running does involve a few hurdles so making it easier for people is a plus.
Thinking OpenEVSE as an example of this. Or all those selling ESP devices preflashed with Tasmota.
