I actually got a working solution already!

ShareX is a screen cap software for the usual quick-and-dirty snapshots but it also can do video of screen regions. I checked and it is possible to also capture audio soooo...

Yeah I'll be doing some clipping too.

Perfect! I always forget about ShareX and Snagit (similar) despite using them for like...a decade lol.
