Two on Lemmy. One on lemmy.world because it seemed both popular and stable enough, and a second one that I'm planning to use now that Beehaw blocked lemmy.world.
Feeling really bummed out that posts on communities from Beehaw are now different depending on what instance you use to view them now.
Oh I missed that Beehaw blocked lemmy.world, any link or TL;DR for why?
They donβt like the open registration process and they feel there was too many bad actors on that server, so they defederated from them.
Thanks, that's good to know! I'll have to go poking around beehaw to find a post.
Beehaw is having trouble moderating some bad actors and harassment coming from some instances with open signups. They've decided to defederate for now until things settle down and better mod tools get released.
Hey thanks! Shame that there's harassment going on, but at least federation makes it easier for them to control for that if they so wish!
