What's the latest on Caicedo? Is he Chelsea bound?
Times Sport reported that we withdrew apparently. Tier 3 tho
Thanks! Gotta say it's hard to imagine us signing 200m+ worth of players between Rice, Caicedo, Havertz, and others. Not surprised if one of them doesn't happen.
Just posted an update from Romano. Apparently talks are advancing with Chelsea 🤢
@Roxamir @DeathWearsANecktie if he wants to go to Chelsea purely for $$ then good riddance; don’t need or want him.
Seems a bit weird to buy Havertz which will allow Chelsea to buy Caicedo when it seems (in my opinion) like we could use Caicedo much more than Kai
I think we were only going to get one of Rice/Caicedo given their price. Some outgoings would help, but I can't see out net spend getting over 200m for the window (Rice 100, Havertz at 60, I'm not sure who but a backup RB for 15-20and some CM depth for 20-25)
