I don't honestly know about that. I remember watching a video of "an elite Chinese military unit" doing a room clearing exercise. They showed the targets they were shooting at afterwards and they all had keyholes. The distances were all inside so maybe 5 meters?

Chinese Wish grade weapons versus Russian corruption makes me think it would be a coin toss.

One possibility that I saw floating around is that this was an ammunition issue, possibly deliberate to reduce damage to the walls of the structure they were training in or lower the risk of ricochet. Not saying I believe that explanation but I'd rather err on the side of not underestimating a potential opponent.
