I've thought about that a lot. I don't know whether to try to type up a manual of how everything works or just leave instructions on how to revert to a more basic setup. Either way I think my family would struggle.
OTOH I think documentation helps everyone involved, myself included.
OTOH no amount of documentation will matter if they don't care. Especially for stuff like this that has all this reasoning behind it, but someone else will do a crappier version for only $X a month and it'll work 'fine'.
