When people talk about propaganda I like to point out friends, because it's perfect as an example. Not only do it lead people to believe there's hardly any black people in New York, but because everyone watched it and it presented itself as a comedy, it was considered fun. But it weren't.
Disclaimer, I know people that would die on the hill of Friends being hilarious.
Interesting take. Because you don't consider it funny, it just isn't funny, despite millions of other people having a different opinion.
I'm obviously being a bit facetious in order to drive some conversation, hence the disclaimer.
