Basically I recently purchased the Jeep Rubicon and would like to get bigger fatter tires. I heard you need a conversion hex nut not sure what I am looking for to get the right part and which tires work with the Jeep. Kyosho's own site doesn't seem to have much of a selection.

Etsy seems like a good place to start but still not sure what to look for re: dimensions or types of tires to avoid.

Can confirm the set linked fits the rubi!

Solid! Thanks for the detailed response with pictures - that's above and beyond!

Well then I am definitely purchasing today.

One other question... what's the difference between the A & B selections on the Amazon page? Is A the same hex conversion but with the disc brake stylistic upgrade? Assuming that's also slightly heavier on the servo.

Seleciton A on the Amazon Page

You are most welcome! I think you are 100% correct and type 'a' is extra weight and style points for the faux caliper! I cannot speak to the fit on those with the rc4wd/injora wheels though and would worry they might rub on the rims depending on the offset of the rim hub.

They look cool as heck though!

First try at upgrading the wheels I'll avoid risking the "A" style. But they are tempting!
