Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.

Pretty sure many think about the animals but not about th homeless because homeless people have sometimes unforgiving reasons while animals are animals.
Humans are animals.
I loved Battlefield Earth when they called us 'man animals'.
Me too man, me too.
The 80’s were dope.
The vast majority of poor people is born into poverty and homo sapiens is an animal species.
The real reason is that we humans are a very egocentric animal species with little thought to other humans and even less thought to other species.
