Bandit is usually pretty good about not getting on counters and tables but sometimes he does this, and just stares at me while I scold him.

He's just reminding you of what you already know to be true: He is the overlord and your powers are useless here.
He makes a gorgeous little grotesque, but I would probably try to block the jump up there, it would be difficult to get him down in an emergency.
