What's up with the login queue? (self.elderscrollsonline)

Not sure what's going on. I tried logging in a few minutes ago and the queue was 29 minutes. I quit out of the queue to see if there was an issue on the server side and I quess there is because I just tried logging back in and now it's 43 minutes. Looks like I'll have to do my dailies later tonight

I heard rumors (grain of salt, yada yada). With the ESO free Epic week combined with the ESO+ free right after it, there may have been some unsavory situations happening. Totally hearsay, but it does make sense on the surface.
