In the past you would say Max could make up those spots but not so much nowadays

I would say plumbing, electrical or general contractor. At least around me theres a lot of people looking for people to help with things like painting the inside of a house, caulking/grouting, general landscaping.

Looks like they go on sale 3 times a year. Once during the games anniversary in April, a second time during quakecon in August and then around Christmas.

Alpha 7iii menu (self.sonyalpha)

My son and I are currently sharing an A7IV and I'm considering picking up an A7iii as a second body. Has the A7iii been updated to the current menu system?

That's for the fair warning. I think I'll look for some of the more reputable manufacturers. I initially looked at the high end Kase magnetic kits and those were way too expensive. I since found they have more reasonable kits that get really good reviews as well.

Does anyone have experience with Urth filters? I'm looking at getting some ND filters and came across this brand which I haven't heard of before but seem to get good reviews.

Good point. we're not far from NYC. Maybe in the next couple weeks we can head in at try it out at a couple museums. We were actually there today and took it down to Chinatown to test it out at a couple restaurants there. It worked fairly well but will try it out at a museum next week. Thanks for the suggestion!

Not really sure what we'll be photographing yet. I would imagine the historical structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, St Peters, etc... indoors and outdoors. At that time of the year it'll probably be getting dark early so probably a fair amount of nighttime shots.

I would stash away a good amount for me and my immediate family and give the rest away to family and select charities.

How much, if anything, are you giving family members?

Trip to Rome (self.sonyalpha)
submitted 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) by Wburbage to c/sonyalpha

I'm going to be taking a trip to Rome later this year and trying to figure out if I need to pick up another lens. Right now I have the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8. Will this lens do it or will I need to get something wider? I plan to take the normal pics of the historical sites and some of the sites over in Vatican City. We also plan on heading down to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

If I can get by with the 24-70 i'd rather do that but if I'll be frustrated that I can't get some of the sites can you suggest a lens that doesn't break the bank?

I would love to get this but that price is a bit too steep

I've had every Pixel since they started. Rocking the 7 Pro at this point.

What's up with the login queue? (self.elderscrollsonline)

Not sure what's going on. I tried logging in a few minutes ago and the queue was 29 minutes. I quit out of the queue to see if there was an issue on the server side and I quess there is because I just tried logging back in and now it's 43 minutes. Looks like I'll have to do my dailies later tonight

Spot on, I'm a real estate agent and you wouldn't believe some of the things you see.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the Manfrotto. Is there a specific one you would suggest?

Seriously considering this new 70-200 f4. We were saving for the f2.8 GM II but this is a whole lot cheaper and reviews are looking pretty good. As a hobbiest would you still go for the f2.8 even though it's another $1,200 more or would you even see the difference?
