The allergy, called alpha-gal syndrome, came to light a little over a decade ago.

Isn't picaridin also shown to be effective? Or is that only against mosquitos and not ticks?

This is the first time I've ever heard of it to be honest but it sounds awesome. I'll definitely be trying it out.
