Really the only response to my stupidity
OK so im confused about this, I thought the idea of the fediverse is that people could have viewed or posted here from both mastodon or lemmy or kbin based apps?
@andresil that appears to be exactly correct.. I didn't realise this was the case, and my mastodon client is quite subtle in displaying that I was replying to a Lemmy post. TL;DR I am a muppet.
