Can you imagine how long it must have taken to braid that skirt? The effort our ancestors put into their clothes was massive.
I mean, farming before modern tools for one. That was incredibly labor-intensive.
Actually not as intensive as most modern jobs. Sure some periods of the year are more intensive than others, but overall, it's less work than today.
