Yes. I keep checking https://sub.rehab for my niche communities.
Yeah especially the super niche stuff that had surprisingly active subs.
The problem typically isn't that the community doesn't exist -- the problem is that it does exist but is empty or mostly empty.
Be the change you want to see. I noticed that every time I post even a small thing on those empty communities, people come and contribute.

While that is true, it also is true that the community often is just not there, and itβs unclear if it will ever come.
A community by its very nature is a group effort. It takes more than one person to keep a community alive and thriving
