This closely mirrors what I read just yesterday in an interview with a social psychologist. It was in a german newspaper, but I‘m sure it‘s in here too: https://www.npr.org/2021/09/24/1039676445/laziness-does-not-exist-devon-price
He, Devon Price, wrote a book on the subject, ‚Lazyness Does Not Exist‘, which I‘m planning to read now.
What I thought was interesting from the Interview was that we procrastinate more with things that are important to us. (BTW his solution is not taking on stuff on your own).
