I'm in my mid-30s and live in southeastern USA. About two years ago some changes in my life instigated what might be called a spiritual awakening of sorts. Up until that point I'd been exploring various religions and belief systems throughout my life, but ultimately never found anything that I could commit to believing in with complete faith. I was raised Christian but left the church in my teens, and spent a lot of time learning about Buddhism and other eastern religions. Finally, one day, something just clicked, and my whole perspective was shifted. For a while I began diving into non-duality and absorbing all the information I could related to the perennial philosophy, to hermeticism, to advaita vedanta, etc. I've since settled on a broader view of what is basically Omnism... I find truth echoing through the heart of most religions, and I'm fascinated to see the different ways this divine truth manifests in myriad forms. I hope to continue expanding my awareness while helping others to do the same, and with that intent I look forward to meeting like-minded people in this community!
