I was very lucky to find an almost good-as-new PSP 2000 locally. I am very excited about it! It will need a new battery though and it only came with an USB charger. Would appreciate any tips pertaining chargers and batteries. But if you have any gaming related suggestions or general tips I'm open for that too :)

Is the PSP still a viable (retro) console? I mean for more than just PSP games?

If I were to get into PSP ownership now for the purpose of retro gaming, which PSP would be good to start with? A 2000? Or 3000? Something newer? Is there some information I can read about getting started with this?

I've always been interested in the PSP, and I couldn't justify the purchase when it was new. Now that the PSP is relatively inexpensive, I'm seriously considering picking one up and toying with it.

Anyone have any advice or a starting point?
