so quiet in here...
I dig your top artists. big fan of Elliott in particular, though I had a Decemberists phase when I was young. any recommendations for where to start with Nick Cave? been meaning to for a while but I'm not sure where precisely to start
as an aside, here's my last.fm
Nick... Hmm..if I had to pick three.
Boatman's call - classic early period album. With some of his must well known tracks on
Murder ballads - a bit later, and themed entirely around murders, it's very twisted though, you'll either love it or not.
Ghosteen - much more recent and written after the death of his son. Haunting and much more retrospective
My personal favourite is No More Shall We Part but it's not one of his best received for some reason
