Tracking tornado and flood risk from NOAA resources is honestly the most I've ever felt like the government has their shit together and is competently doing something genuinely needed. It is a triumph of human cooperation and I have to assume the people wanting to get rid of it are indifferent or hostile to the success of human society and people being safe.
