The way his daughter speaks of him makes me think he’s a psychopath. He is emotionless and dead inside, he’s a broken human.
absolute power (& wealth) corrupts absolutely
Wealth cannot be detangled from power, so yeah, this is dead on.
We can have democracy or we can have billionaires, we cannot have both
Incorrect. Those that are corrupt desires and seek absolute power & wealth more than an normal person. We have a few people in history who did had absolute power & wealth and uses it to great benefit for his people.
Who in history had absolute wealth and or power and used it to great benefit for their people?
I'd like to know too, I strongly suggest this is a delusion. Although the saying is a cliché, it's a remarkably correct statement.
Considering nearly every single one of their comments is about China and they said “his people” I think I have an idea that confirms that you’d be correct
