Setting aside the problem of how you're ignoring the obvious implied "at home" in the sentence, FDR is a centrist liberal? Fucking FDR? Like, this FDR?
Yes, FDR has entered the chat as an example of what a leader needs to do to fight fascism.
Also FDR
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internment_of_Japanese_Americans
Illegally threw US citizens into internment camps.
But if you can like FDR who imprisoned people for having the wrong family, maybe you can stop screaming at Liberals today.
Okay you are not engaging with my point; leave the strawmanning to the conservatives.
This is just a non-sequitur. Like what point are you even trying to make?
The point where you seem to be able to ignore that FDR, for all his good qualities, did some pretty bad things too.
If you can ignore FDR's imprisoning Japanese - Americans, you can ignore the Dems faults, too.
Also, a 'strawman argument' is when I exaggerate your position. I didn't exaggerate what you said, I pointed out the fact that you seem to like some of FDR's policies while ignoring others.
So FDR for all his faults didn't fund a genocide, but that aside that's straight up not what I'm talking about. I'm not saying the Dems' faults are too big to ignore; I'm saying that, being liberal centrists, they can't stop fascism as we've seen these past 9 years. This isn't a moral judgement; it's a statement of fact that you're not engaging with.
Now there's a bigger genocide in Gaza and a genocide in Ukraine and a concentration camp for immigrants in Gitmo.
Going after Biden really did the world a lot of good, didn't it?
There's (at this point in time, anyway) nothing except talk of the concept of a plan of a genocide in Gaza, but that aside will you just engage with my point already? This is literally not the point I'm trying to make.
