So, turns out these nuclear workers were fired as part of some efficiency push under the Trump administration, but it seems like no one actually thought through the consequences. Cutting experienced professionals from something as critical as nuclear security was reckless, and now they’re scrambling to bring them back. If they were genuinely unneeded, why the sudden reversal? Just proves that the decision was shortsighted from the start.
