I am not entirely sure you need to photograph the exact rendezvous location.
I accidentally took a photo elsewhere on a rendezvous planet and got the quest complete notification.
You might be lucky enough to jump to player bases on the rendezvous planets from the space anomaly.
Yeah well my problem is I can’t find the system :/ I’m playing on my steam deck with multiplayer enabled and I can’t see any other player bases (apart from the featured ones) in the portal screen
Hmm, usually the SA teleporter is spammed full of bases, though that might not be the case when on the expedition.
If you've only visited redevous systems then the galaxy map will have faint lines tracing your warp path, visit systems have a circle around them. You might be able to back track to the systems.
Ah I hadn’t thought about that, hopefully I can retrace my steps
Edit: so I ran into a bug where rendezvous 5 was auto completed even tho I haven’t been to the system yet
I'm never not amazed at how weird the bugs are in NMS.
My favorite was during first run of expedition 2 (or whatever the Normandy one was) was my buddy managed to get a full fleet of Normandys (Normandies, what’s the plural) because the claim prompt wasn’t going away
Mine was, I think in the first expedition, the korvax at the space station allowed you to practice the language indefinitely, thus acquiring dozens of upgrade modules, many S-class. Having a fully tooled up exosuit, multitool, and starship, and a bucket of nanites at the start of the exp was useful.
Right during the inventory rework I could just keep adding tech slots and so I have so many tech slots on my main save
