All the Americans on their phones would be too distracted to do much of anything... which is part of the problem (he said, in his grumpy old man voice).

Yeah, I guess they’d also have to be facing the wrong way. Same effect in the end though, and tank man didn’t really achieve much inside the regime either unfortunately.
