Peter Kyle MP insists that the data center “turbocharge” will create “thousands of new jobs.”

it’s astonishing to me that this line is being launched (and uncritically repeated in too many places), given how much outright multidimensional nonsense it is. I realize it’s sell-the-idea bullshit pushed by whoever provided the speech points (maybe even the money), but ffs

Peter Kyle is an excellent speaker but has rotated through 1000 portfolios and can be assumed to have zero subject area knowledge, or negative in the case of tech
