It's amazing what people were capable of 2000 years ago without modern machinery. The pyramids which are older are amazing on their own but the combined number of cities and mega structures that were all built before our modern era is just awe inspiring

I think you have a typo there

And I agree. Humans are great not as individuals but as big complex organizations and groups of people all working towards the same goal. If anyone, no matter how wealthy they think they are, are the most important human in any organization, then their project is doomed to failure .... if not immediately, than eventually.
