Musk – visionary CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and founder of X Corp – is a man on a mission to get humanity to Mars. He is also the wealthiest person on the planet.

His fascist heel turn would be part of it, but the decline in quality (or perhaps the fading of the visionary-genius halo effect that masked that Teslas are just not well made) would also play a big part.
