Summary

Russia warned that U.S.-Russia relations are near collapse, with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stating the Ukraine war will continue unless Kyiv abandons its NATO ambitions.

The Kremlin declined to confirm Trump's claim that he spoke with Putin, despite Trump's assertion that he expects more discussions to end the war.

Trump’s security adviser suggested economic pressure on Moscow to negotiate, while Ukraine's Zelenskyy insists on U.S. and European support before engaging with Putin.

Meanwhile, a Russian drone attack injured a civilian in Ukraine’s Sumy region.

i was kind of expecting russia to team up with usa against europe

[–] [email protected] 10 points 16 hours ago

That's definitely not ruled out

Why teaming up with Russia? They are a large country with a broken economy and now also a broken military...

Because it would be in russias interests? And russia is big enough threat that some military people in europe have started to worry too. They are rearming fast and will likely want to attack more than ukraine. Usa is ruled by traitor and a madman who immidiately started threatening allies, i wouldnt put past them to start dividing western the world amongst themselves like hitler and stalin did. But i hope news like this arent just some ruse by russia, facing them alone will be bad enough. I just hope the threat will be taken seriously by those who make decisions, maybe it wont come to war then.
