Google appears to be preparing support for "time zone change" notifications on Android which may end up coming with Android 16.

I struggle to see a reason for this, even with the example provided in the article. I think it would be annoying for folks who live at the edge of two zones, but I also think it will continue to be a setting that could be cycled.

Traveling full time in the USA, I have run into issues where I didn’t know I bopped on over to a new timezone. This is more important as my work hours always stay EST. I more than anything want a simple option to have my alarm go off at a time set with a specified timezone instead of off the time on my phone.
