This includes:

Mainline games (ex. The Sims 2)
Spin-offs (ex. The Sims Bustin' Out)
Unique console releases (ex. The Wii version of The Sims 3)
Mods and other fan-made content (ex. fan art)
The Sims-like games/competing life simulators (Tiny Life, Paralives, Vivaland, and inZOI are in-development games I am aware of)

To summarize some points from the video:

Some of the original Sim's issues with larger resolutions, such as the UI appearing small or not being able to zoom in all the way, can be fixed by setting your monitor to 720p.
Both games have issues crashing.
The Sims 2 version has all the DLC except the IKEA pack which can be re-added with a fan patch.
It is not really recommended now until more of the bugs and stability issues are fixed. Before you buy it LGR recommends checking out the refund policy.

I hope he does a follow up eventually. Maybe in a year to show how or if the game has changed.

I'm hoping EA fixes or even adds some stuff. It would suck major league if they just intended to dump the game with the bare minimum of fixes.
