I can't speak for Europe proper (relatively sane Europe), here in the UK I fully expect most of that same kind of behaviour. Probably not to the same extent as the US but it'll be bad

Yep, although I take some slight comfort that the whole "deep state" thing doesn't seem to have found much of a foothold here (yet?)
