Summary

Experts warn that Trump’s proposal for the U.S. to "take over" Gaza is fueling jihadist propaganda and could inspire terrorist attacks.

Security analysts say extremist groups will use his remarks to recruit, portraying the U.S. as an occupying force.

Critics, including Sen. Chris Murphy, argue Trump’s rhetoric directly aids terrorist recruitment.

Despite global backlash, Trump has defended his stance.

Former officials warn that, combined with recent cuts to intelligence agencies, these statements heighten the risk of terrorism targeting Americans at home and abroad.

Genuine question: if israel wants to expand their territory, and it seems clear that they do, why would they want to give gaza to christian americans? Isnt total control their aim? Why would they let america take territory they see as their owm.

They never really wanted gaza, it's a small piece of land with little historical ties to the bible/Torah. In fact it has more ties to the philistines (non jewish inhabitants of the area), yes that's where the word Palestine comes from, who were there historical enemy.

There long term goal pre October 7th was to try and move all the Palestinians in the rest of Israel into Gaza. You could see this with there funnel immigration policy, if you left Israel for east Jerusalem you couldn't come back to israel, if you left east Jerusalem for the west bank you couldn't come back to Jerusalem, if you left the west bank for Gaza you couldn't come back to the west bank.

The problem with this plan, besides the ethics of doing a slow ethnic cleansing, was that if you concentrate that many people in an open air prison it tends to radicalize them against the wardens. So they had to deal with constant missile fire, they thought Iron dome would solve this but Oct 7th removed that image of safety.

So now they need a new plan. They can't force them out as no country will take them. They can't occupy it long term because it just becomes a pit to throw Israeli soldiers in, that's why they left in 2005. So trump volunteering to take it off there hands is the perfect solution, the u.s. can pay the money and lives in a quagmire while the Israelis can "live in peace"

Thank you for explaining it to me.

I think their extreme hate of anything Palestinian might just top their desires for the land.

Fair call, but how will they get along with evangelical christians dying for the apocalypse?

As long as these are their bitch, which the US political elites mostly are, they would be fine with it. Also ideally the Americans would then do the fighting and murdering for them, so they can just collect the scraps in the end.

There is a lot of delusions of grandeur in Israel though. By not getting any serious pushback from the US and the lobby capture of US politics many Israelis have become completely detached from the reality of their position. Among younger Jews outside Israel the majority has become critical of it and want little to do with it. Meanwhile Palestinians have a higher birthrate and pre genocide there was about as many Palestinians in the area as there was western Zionists.

So the apartheid system is becoming less and less stable as the demographics tip over. This became evident with Oct. 7 and Israel needs every help they can get to ethnically cleanse or fully genocide as many Palestinians as they can get away with. In the same sense they cannot be too picky about their settlers as long as they think they can control them.

Among others, Israel is harboring child rapists that fled from justice in the US. And this is not crazy propaganda to make them look evil. It is reported on by mainstream media outlets, including Israeli ones.

Eventually America will get bored and vacate the land, so the logical choice for an ally to take over is Israel

They surely don’t like this idea but they’re scared of daddy Trump.

Also they know it’s going nowhere and will be forgotten if they just ignore it.

Yeah, that sounds like what people said about project 2025, i dont believe the 'he doesnt mean it' crowd.

He means it but I think this one will be way too unpopular to go anywhere. But we’ll see I guess. I’m no prophet.
