Joss Whedon is not involved in the Buffy reboot. It's being made by Chloe Zhao along with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Gail Berman (who was executive producer of Wednesday) with input from Nora and Lilla Zuckerman (Agents of SHIELD). Seems like it will be just as campy as we're all hoping for.
