Man (like, "mankind" man, gender inclusive ykwim).

(I know it's probably not "right" but it does fit, man can be "cracked" as a synonym for crazy or literally on crack, "made" through the magic of sex or the mafia, "told" about or to do stuff and things, and "played" like a sucker or a fool.)
